First User Workshop

The First User Workshop was held on May 19, 2014, at FAO premises in Rome, Italy. It was attended by more than 50 people, coming from 20 different institutions, with the objective to discuss the user requirements underlying the specifications of the Sen2-Agri products .

The workshop was introduced by ESA and the consortium through a presentation of the project and its objectives. The Champion Users exposed then their key work linked with the project and their specific expectations. The managers of the sites considered in the project then gave an overview of the corresponding areas in terms of agro-ecological context and their activities with regard to in-situ data collection.

As a conclusion, all attendees expressed their interest and their intention to be actively involved in the project.
